**Possessed Ex-Combat Engineer**\\ 

Oscar Sharp is served in the Great War as a combat engineer, specializing in explosives and demolition. Despite his background as a scion of a long line of military officers, Oscar's idealism led him to requesting a position in the frontlines, to earn his laurels on his own, rather than by family connections. Combination of his utter lack of magical talent, aptitude with all things explosive and willful ignorance to danger quickly led Oscar to a squad specializing in behind-the-lines operations where he served as demolitions expert. After the war Oscar - among many others - was discharged from service as part of demilitarization of the city-state.

During the war Oscar took part in many behind-the-lines missions. One such mission involved blowing up a ring of hostile summoners. The mages were in the middle of a grand summoning when the they were suddenly blown up, sending the spell haywire. As side-effect of the magic gone wild, many of those witnessing the event were driven temporarily insane, turning the area into festival of destruction. Oscar was one of the few to escape the area unscathed - or so he thinks. Unknown to him the magical energies bound a Demon of Destruction into his psyche. Ever since the demon has been whispering at the back of Oscar's mind, twisting his idealism and driven personality for its own purposes.
