You reshape an magical object (most commonly a weapon) to a new form. The base DC depends on the item's level, and the GM will assign a DC adjustment based on how different the changed object is compared to the original; they may also state that reshaping is impossible (eg. changing weapons into armor, or changing a whip into a maul).
The secondary check is used to stabilize the magical properties while the item is reshaped; the particular skill needed depends on the properties of the item. More than one skill may be appropriate, but the DCs may also differ.

• Critical Success: As success, but the item may also be temporarily returned to it's old form once per month; this requires 10 minutes of interacting with the item and lasts for the rest of the day. Increase the level of item by one.
• Success: The item takes the new form.
• Failure: The item remains in it's old form.
• Critical Failure: The item is warped into an unwanted form, and some or all of it's magical properties change.
