Only very bare-bones planning, so it's mostly improvised.
Don't expect anything above bulk fantasy quality,
but I'll happily take critique. The setting is my own,

with a goodly amount of background on the account of me having run
roleplaying games in it for a while now.

A man was racing with the devil. Though he ran as fast as he could,
always the devil was faster. As he ran, he became tired and slowed down,
first to a jog and then to a walk. The devil slowed down as well, but
stayed ahead of the man. The man asked:
"Why don't you run to the goal and win?"
The devil answered:
"I must keep ahead of you."
